Large German Shepherds from large German Shepherd breeder in Pennsylvania – large German Shepherds (known as large German Shepards or large German Shepard Dogs), can also be considered old fashioned German Shepherds or old style German Shepherds. Video showcasing our dogs and previous puppies.
Pioneer German Shepherds breeds sweet-tempered plush and long coat (long haired) German Shepherd Dogs that are oversized with a laidback temperament. Please note that our dogs are NOT Shiloh Shepherds but are distantly related, with larger size and less angulation than most GSD. Nor are they King Shepherds, however they are above average in size (some say king sized) with a large-boned structure. However, all are AKC German Shepherd Dogs. Puppies are whelped indoors and raised underfoot in our home with lots of love, occasionally available to select companion homes. Guard dog Attack training German Shepherd/Malinois k9-1.com
Personal protection attack dog training video of a 7 month old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois mix puppy. Although this dog isn’t old enough to do real guard dog work it is being prepared to do real protection work… sort of like sending a child to karate class. He will finish guard dog training at about 18 months old. Quality protection dog training takes patience, respect, and knowledge. If a dog is trained with yelling and intimidation…how do you expect them to do protection work on a yelling man? Beware of people who sell sport dogs (aka schutzhund trained dogs) as “personal protection dogs. Sport dogs are trained to look pretty doing specific protection routines on a training field and may be confused in a real situation when there is not a bite sleeve or protection suit to bite. Also these types of protection dogs are trained to take stick hits instead of avoiding them and attcking that arm. This is because you can’t hold the stick with an arm within sleeve and schutzhund is a sport that is meant to prove a dogs bravery and show they are worthy of breeding, therefore they are trained to take stick hits that are always used with a stick that won’t really hurt the dog and are always hit on safe spots of the body. This is setting the dog up for failer when they must fight a person for real that is planning on hitting them in the head with an iron bar. Giant Long Coat German Shepherd Ash – Pioneer Pioneer’s GSD
Our male long coat German Shepherd Ash. In the video he’s out of coat and lost a bit of weight due to the heat, we’ll try to get better video this winter. Video taken Oct 5-6, 2007. In the video, to get an idea of his height of about 30″ at the shoulder, 120 lbs, Jason is 6 ft. Abe is his 9 month old son who is almost as tall as him already!
